Earlier this week, the Diocese of Gallup settled with 57 alleged victims of sexual abuse perpetrated by members of the clergy, 17 of whom had been represented by Montoya, Lucero & Pastor, PA through 13 suits. Roughly $24 million of the settlement has been set aside for the survivors of clerical sexual abuse, to the point that the diocese had to file for bankruptcy.
